Comfortable with leather jackets

If, like me, you enjoy spending your Saturday afternoons cheering on your team in all weathers, you will appreciate how important the right clothes are, and needing to feel comfortable in them all day is. Some of us are also a little on the vain side, so looking good is always a plus. In the early days of the internet, online shopping was seen as something of a risk and not that many people did it. Nowadays with secure socket layers and advanced encryption, not to mention the help that experience brings in ironing out early problems, the process is more familiar, and many people don’t think twice about doing a lot of their shopping online. You can take advantage of internet suppliers lower operating costs and get some good deals on quality leather jackets. Bomber jackets are a good choice for protection against the wind and a smart, casual look. Some come with detachable hoods which are useful if the weather turns a bit nasty.

If you are aiming for a smarter look then a blazer style might be more your thing. Genuine leather does not make you sweat in the heat like synthetic materials can and so is ideal for a variety of conditions, and of course you can take them off if it gets a bit too hot. That is not usually a problem for most of the football season though. A lot of the key fixtures are played out over the winter months, with the big finals held in the late spring so heat waves are not normally an issue. If you are a year round leather fan then some of the bomber style jackets are quite lightweight. Colours are naturally understated for leather jackets; the all time classic being black and apart from that, mainly shades of brown and tan. Women get a little more adventurous with some lighter colours and grey can look chic too. If you look after the leather it will wear very well too, making it a good choice when you are travelling around, following your team.

Treated correctly, you will be able to wipe spillages off without any drama, and keep them looking good for a long time. Many of us like to indulge in some junk food when at the local match, so it’s good to know a dollop of mustard is not going to ruin your clothes. Choose a style with a zipped pocket if you want to keep your wallet Msafe, and large inner pockets are handy for keeping your programs in, without having to bend them. For a bit more protection against the elements there are the larger coat-style leather jackets, some of which come with a removable quilted inner, making them a good choice for both warm and cold weather fixtures. A waxed finish will help to keep the rain from soaking in whilst zips and a high collar keep the wind at bay. In the end it is down to your individual preference though.
